Official Rules
HOW TO ENTER:
Majic Facebook contests can begin and end at any time and any day on Majic’s Facebook page. Go to Majic’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/majic951 and follow the directions to participate in the contest. There may be more than one Majic Facebook contest but each will have a separate entry form. Each contest’s criteria for entry will be posted. You must have a Facebook account to participate and “like” Majic’s Facebook page.
WAJI disclaims any responsibility for computer, email or equipment malfunctions.
WAJI is not responsible for internet outages, delays, or malfunctions and any other difficulties that may prevent an individual from completing his/her entry during this contest. Enter only once please.
HOW TO WIN:
Follow the directions posted on Majic’s Facebook page in order to participate in Majic’s Facebook contests.
WHO CAN WIN:
The contest is open to anyone 13 years of age or older with a valid photo I.D. or other identification issued by the U. S. government or an educational institution. You must reside in the Fort Wayne metropolitan area, consisting of Allen, Whitley, Dekalb, Wells, Adams, Huntington, Steuben, Jay, Noble, Defiance, Van Wert, and Paulding counties. Employees of Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., contest sponsors, and employees of other radio stations in the Fort Wayne Metro area and their immediate families are ineligible. Immediate family is defined as: parents, in-laws, children, grandparent, spouse, in-laws and those in spouse-like relationships, siblings, including those in step and half relations. You are not eligible to participate in a WAJI contest if you have won a WAJI prize valued at $600 or more within the prior four months. Anyone who has worked for or interned with Sarkes Tarzian, Inc. is not eligible to participate or win.
You may not impersonate someone else to win Majic’s Facebook contests.
Any previous Majic Facebook winners are not eligible until their 30 days have expired.
Decisions of station management with respect to the Majic Facebook contests are final.
Participants agree to:
- A complete release of Facebook by each entrant or participant.
- Acknowledgment that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.
- Disclosure that the participant is providing information to WAJI and not to Facebook.
PRIZES:
Value of prizes determined on an individual prize basis.
All prizes must be picked up at the office of WAJI, 347 W. Berry St. Ste. 600, Fort Wayne, IN46802 within 30 days unless otherwise specified. Prizes not picked up within 30 days become the property of WAJI.
Contest prizes are not transferable, may not be redeemed for cash or exchanged for any other prize.
CONDITIONS:
Payment of all federal, state and local taxes is the sole responsibility of the winner. WAJI will submit an IRS form 1099 or the equivalent for any individual who wins a total of $600 or more in prizes during any calendar year.
By participating in the contest, each winner and immediate family member agrees to allow their name, voice and/or likeness used in any advertising or broadcast material relating to this contest for a period of one year without additional compensation or other consideration.
Each winner is required to sign a Receipt verifying eligibility prior to acceptance of any prize of more than nominal value. The winner will agree to hold WAJI, Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., prize sponsors, and the respective shareholders, directors, employees, agents, and representatives of each of them harmless from and against any and all claims or liability arising directly or indirectly from the prize or participation in the contest.
These rules are the subject to the interpretation of WAJI. Any aspect of these rules, including substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of WAJI.
No purchase necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of WAJI.
WAJI is not responsible for errors in the offering or the administration of the contest, including any internet or telephone malfunctions, or in the online announcement of the prizes.
