“HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS”
OFFICIAL RULES
HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS will begin on Monday, November 2, 2009 and end on Monday, November 30, 2009.
HOW TO ENTER:
To participate in the Home For The Holidays program, simply submit a short letter of 300 words or less explaining why your serviceperson should be selected to fly back home to the Fort Wayne area so they can spend time with their families over the holidays. Submit your letter to Home For The Holidays by filling out the online form at waji.com, or entries may be mailed to: Home For The Holidays, Fort Wayne International Airport, Attention: Contest, 3801 W. Ferguson Rd., Ste 209, Fort Wayne, IN 46809.
Include your name, address, telephone number and email address. Also include the serviceperson’s name, rank, location/station, airport they would depart from, dates of travel requested, email and telephone number. All letters MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN FRIDAY NOVEMBER 27, 2009.
For entries by mail or internet, Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI are not responsible for lost, stolen, mutilated, misdelivered, postage due, illegible or untimely entries, difficulty accessing the Internet, service outages, or delays, computer difficulties or other technological glitches.
ELIGIBILITY RESTRICTIONS:
This program is open to all residents of the Greater Fort Wayne Area who reside in the WAJI listening area. Employees of Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and Sarkes Tarzian, Inc., and employees of other radio stations and their immediate families are ineligible. Immediate family is defined as: parents, children, in-laws, spouses, those in spouse like relationships and siblings including those in step and half relations where living in the same household.
Only one entry per serviceperson per household. Servicepersons cannot nominate themselves. Travel must be made between December 2, 2009 and January 31, 2010. Inability to travel on these dates will forfeit eligibility. If the winning entry is deemed ineligible, another entry will be selected and that serviceperson will be awarded the trip. This process will continue until a winner is determined.

Internet entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of the entry. The authorized account holder is the natural person who is assigned to the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses.
How To Win:
Entries will be read by a committee of Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI and one entry will be selected for domestic travel and one entry will be selected for international travel according to the contents of the letters submitted, and based on ability to travel between December 2, 2009 and January 31, 2010.
Each serviceperson will receive one (1) free round-trip ticket to Fort Wayne, IN from anywhere the serviceperson is stationed.
Approximate value of trip granted will vary depending on location of serviceperson and dollar amount of ticket on date ticket is issued.
Winning entry will be selected on Tuesday, December 1, 2009, and announced on-air on Wednesday December 2nd, 2009.
Tickets are not transferable, and may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash.
CONDITIONS:
By participating in HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS, the winner or winners agree to allow their name, voice, and/or likeness to be used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS for a period of 14 months without additional financial or other compensation.
Each winner must show proper identification and sign a receipt verifying eligibility prior to acceptance of any prize of more than nominal value.
Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI in it sole discretion, reserves the right to disqualify any person tampering with the entry process, the operation of the Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI web sites respectively or who is otherwise in violation of the rules. The station further reserves the right to cancel, terminate, or modify the contest if it is not capable of completion as planned, including infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures or any sort.
The rules are subject to the interpretation of Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI. Any aspect of these rules, including substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater value, can be changed at the discretion of Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI, and such change(s) will become effective immediately online at waji.com.
No purchase is necessary. The contest is void where prohibited.
Failure to comply with the contest rules may result in a contestant’s disqualification, at the sole discretion of Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI.
Fort Wayne International Airport, the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce and WAJI are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest or in the announcement of any prize.
